Turn times, how many covers land in a fifteen-minute window, the largest party that can book online, how late you’ll still take a booking — all of it changes in a few seconds, and you can close off dates entirely for a private hire or a week in January without unpicking anything. Fill the window seats first when it’s quiet so the room reads busy from the street.
When you’re full in season, guests go on a waiting list and get a text the moment a table frees up, rather than drifting off up the road. Out of season, the guest list you’ve built over summer is the thing you use to fill a quiet midweek — a few hundred people who have already eaten with you and live locally.
We’re in Cornwall. Not a support portal in another time zone, not a ticket queue — someone who can tell you where Portreath is and, if it genuinely matters, drive to you. Setup is done for you either way: you tell us your tables, your rooms and your service times, and we hand it over working, usually inside a day.
One of the venues running it is the Waterfront in Portreath, and the system was shaped around a working Cornish pub kitchen rather than a spec document.
